Whitewater Rafting?

Professional guides take you through the exciting ClassII/III rapids on the South Fork of the American River. The rafting action begins quickly with the Class 3 Meatgrinder rapid and continues for the next 5+ miles with Racehorse Bend, Rock Garden, Triple Threat, the Class 3+ Troublemaker and others. The river slows after this and we end the trip with a river lunch at the Marshal Gold Discovery State Historic Park.

?

Water Sports?

Enjoy the warm California sun while sampling a variety of watercraft at the Natomas Aquatic Center. Improve the skills you have or learn something new. Activities include sailboats, canoes, kayaks and hyrobikes. The group will compete with each other on the water challenge course.

?

Sled Hockey?

Sled hockey is an exciting sport for individuals with mobility disabilities. A sledge, or ice sled, is used for mobility on the ice, and the players? sticks are modified with a pick-end for pushing and a blade-end for shooting. Sled hockey is a fast-paced, fast-growing team sport that follows the same playing rules as able-bodied ice hockey. We will be playing a friendly, competitive, no-contact, introductory level game.

?

Cycling?

Our fleet of adaptive cycles makes biking accessible to just about anyone. Test your upper and lower body strength by sampling one or more of ourhand cycles, foot pedaled recumbents, or inline tandems. Our experienced staff and volunteers will ensure a proper fit no matter which bike you choose and provide an introduction to adaptive cycling so you can experience the best of this popular adaptive sport

?

Scuba?

Introduction to scuba diving, with HSA certified adaptive scuba instructors. This demonstration will give you the chance to get in the pool and try out the sport.
